What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is a method of health care that includes herbal medicine and clinical nutrition (diet and supplementation), and is used to prevent, manage, and treat conditions of the human mind and body.

Naturopathy Principals

The foundation of naturopathy is the philosophy of the ‘healing power of nature’. This is based on the philosophy that the body has the ability to heal and that naturopathic treatment will enhance and optimise the body to repair itself and recover from illness.

Why get a Naturopathy Treatment?

While naturopathy can be of assistance with a wide variety of acute and chronic health concerns, you needn’t have a condition to benefit from Naturopath. By supporting energy, vitality and general wellbeing we can help you feel 100%.

Prevention of illness is an important part of naturopathy. Preventative medicine involves taking steps to ensure a disease does not reoccur, as well as by promoting optimal health to protect against the development of the disease.

Consultation Information

The aim is to identify the root cause of the illness and fix it. To achieve this the following comprehensive treatment program is encouraged. This program is suited to chronic and/or complicated conditions.

First appointment: Assessment of your health goals and gather an understanding of the cause and path of your illness/condition.

Second appointment: Screening tests necessary to assess the validity of the cause and measure the severity of the illness/condition.

Third appointment: A complete assessment is provided reporting on the findings of the first two consultations. This is followed by a ‘plan of action’ and a health program to achieve your goals.
